Job description:
In conjunction with the Head of NEXFI’s “Customer Services” division, you will be involved in implementing the Tracker software package within portfolio management companies (Asset Managers).
Your role will consist in:

Understanding and analysing the customer’s needs and expectations

Ensuring the smooth functioning of the project and adherence to commitments

Providing training and support for users
-
Intervening in the software package in order to adapt it to specific characteristics

Ensuring the administrative management of the project (schedule, documents for monitoring purposes, etc.)

Coordinating exchanges between the customer’s operators and Nexfi departments
Desired candidate profile:
For this position, you must provide evidence of previous professional project management experience with regard to market finance projects:

You have assumed project management responsibilities in a consulting firm, with a software package vendor, a service provider (software and computing services company) or within a management company

You have developed a liking for human contact and know how to listen to your customers in order to provide them with the best response

You are conversant with office tools and have top level IT skills (macros, Excel, SQL, VBA language, etc..)

You know how financial instruments function and have been confronted with their use in an operating environment

You have the overall view of an IT project and its challenges, while at the same time being capable of dealing with each of the stages of the project precisely and comprehensively

You have already worked in a team and are accustomed to speaking with different people (technical, financial, management, etc..)

Job description:
Within the R&D team, you will be involved in developing the Tracker solution for the Front and Middle Offices of portfolio management companies (institutional and asset management).
You will be involved primarily in the development and migration of VB6 to .NET for application modules inherent to position-keeping.
Desired candidate profile:
- With engineering/university qualifications in IT, you have at least 3 years professional experience in object-oriented environments related to a relational base, if possible in conjunction with the markets and financial instruments
- You are conversant with the constraints generated by the development of complex applications in a multi-user environment
- You are able to be autonomous in order to take charge of a sub-project (function, module, etc.)
- Experience in the financial field is an advantage, as is experience in the development of a third-party application (.NET or J2EE)
